About Me

I was born on January 21st......the year is not necessary,  because I will be 29 forever.

I am a laboratory technician.  I work with cancer patients, who amaze me everyday with their resilience.  They are the reason I do the work I do.

I am married to a wonderful man who I am grateful for everyday, whether I show it or not. Love You Peter! We have been together for 8 years....married  for 4.

I  have 1 child.  Carter is an exuberant ball of fun born on December 22nd.  Always on the go and learning something new everyday.  He is becoming more independent and I am not sure how to feel about that yet.

I  have a dog.  He is a terrier mix..Go Mutts!  One of the best dogs I have ever had.  He has a bit of a barking issue when people come to the house....or he hears a loud noise......or when Carter is chasing him...or...Where is Caesar Milan when I need him?!

Hobbies include, but are not limited to....
  • Volleyball- Preferably sand, it provides a slightly cushier landing.....because I am so graceful.
  •  Golf- Just because.
  • Scrap booking.- I really enjoy it and wish I could do this more than I have.  I started on Carter's book and have gotten to the day after we got home from the hospital.  He is 18 months old.
  • Sleep
  • Music- You name it I like it.  I like to sing, listen and play.
  • Theater- In the show or watching, it's always a good time.
  • Sleep- Hey It's sleep who doesn't like it.
  • Movies- I like a  wide variety of different movies.   I have to be in the mood to watch an action flick though.
  • Spending time with the family
  • Reading- I like a good fiction in the range of romance (not so much the steamy kind), scify, mystery. I have read the Twilight series, the Harry Potter series and also the Sookie Stackhouse series.  I like also like Jane Austin novels,  The Red Tent, Tracy Chevalier novels, J.D. Robb (AKA Nora Roberts) her death series is good.  There are many I have read and enjoyed.
  • Sleep- oh you elusive Mr. Sandman......maybe writing this when you are sleepy is not a good idea.
  • Shopping- to the detriment of my wallet.
Me in a nutshell......How did I get in this nutshell?
